GET THE FACTS

Since microblading’s takeover in the beauty world, advanced eyebrow enhancing techniques have only continued to grow and evolve. And, while microblading is still giving women enviable eyebrows with minimal upkeep, there are other techniques that offer something different for those who prefer a more filled in look, one of which is called microshading. Having these two options to offer clients is perfect for achieving any dream brow look, and allows us to enhance your already natural beauty. Not sure which one is best for you and your desired look? Let’s chat about the differences!

The microblading technique uses tiny micro needles to implant pigment into the skin. Your artist will use a manual hand tool to draw each hair stroke, making the brows look incredibly natural.  These hand drawn strokes follow the natural hair growth pattern and, because of the pigments used, the color will fade into its lighter form over time– keeping you from that blue-grey tone that traditional tattoos get. If you are looking for a very natural look that is perfect every. single. day, than this is the treatment for you. Microbladed brows last anywhere from 1-3 years but because this is a semi-permanent treatment, you will need to come in for a touch up 4-12 weeks after your initial appointment and every year to ensure your brows continue to look perfect.

The microshading treatment is done in a stippling motion to give the illusion of a powdered, filled in makeup. We always incorporate this WITH microblading to still give a very natural look of hair strokes. This treatment is great for clients who want to quit filling in their brows and want a fuller look. Like microblading, this service requires a touch up 4-12 weeks after your initial appointment and yearly afterwards to maintain that perfectly filled in look. All of our appointments include a consultation so that you can discuss with your artist which service is best for you and your desired look.

Im all about making your days and mornings easier. Most of my clients who have gotten their brows done also have gotten their lips done with me, giving you that “I woke up like this” moment every day. I offer both lip blush and lip neutralization services so, let’s dive into the differences between the two.

Lip Neutralization

is a form of cosmetic tattooing geared towards neutralizing the appearance of darker-toned lips.

Our Lip Neutralizing service is designed to help improve the appearance of dark lips whether caused by an overproduction of melanin, trauma, medical conditions, or smoking. Results can last anywhere from 2-5 years.

Lip blushing

is a type of semi-permanent cosmetic enhancement that helps define your existing lip shape and natural lip color giving definition and illusion of fullness. Lip blushing enhances the natural shape and color of the lip giving you a pop of color making your lips automatically look more youthful. Lasts up to 3 years.

What are the benefits of the Lip Service:

Our Lip Services are perfect for clients who:

✧ Have uneven lips

✧ Want that make-up look with having to apply or reapply

✧ Have uneven lip tone colour

✧ Have dark lips they'd like to look lighter/brighter

✧ Have lost definition to their lips

✧ Want the appearance of fuller-looking lips

✧ Have lip fillers

✧ Have little to no colour in their lips

✧ Sensitive to makeup products

Please note that the healing process my come with inflammatory hyper-pigmentation can occur in anyone but is more common in darker-skinned individuals, in whom the color tends to be more intense and persist for a longer period than in lighter skin colors.

Keep in mind, all procedures have to go through a process that required patience and possible multiple sessions. Procedure price includes touch-up. Procedure is not considered finished until second procedure.

Always remember that results will vary as we all have different skin compositions.

We get many questions about what the difference is between a lash line enhancement and a cosmetic eyeliner

A lash Line Enhancement is a thin line that sits at the root of your lashes and gives the illusion of a fuller lash line. When your eye is shut there is minimal trace of the eyeliner as there is with a typical cosmetic eyeliner. This technique may not replace the look of a fuller eyeliner, but for most, will give just enough at the base of your lashes to where women feel eyeliner is not needed. Though the end results are subtle, they are just as permanent as a typical cosmetic eyeliner. Yay for waking up without having to do your makeup!

Q: What do I need to know prior to booking a lash line enhancement appointment.

A: No lash lifts, lash tints, lash extensions or growth serums for 6 weeks prior to your scheduled appointment.

Q: What is the healing for a lash Line Enhancement?

A: Keep area clean and free of makeup for about five days. Minimal swelling. No mascara for 7 days, at that time you will need to use a brand new tube of mascara.

Q: When can I use a lash serum or get lash extensions?

A: 5-6 weeks after your appointment. At this time you will be completely healed and can pick back up on normal routines.

Q: Can I get the line thicker?

A: Yes we can do it a little thicker but will not do cat eyes or anything that we feel will not wear well with time. You can always add makeup to your permanent cosmetic, but you can’t take it away!
